Beckets
puts on an Amazing Joseph performance
December 2007 saw 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'
come to Becket's stage. Involving nearly 80 students both on stage
and off it was an extravaganza of music, singing, dancing and acting.
This is the second show to be at Beckets since Drama returned to
the school three years ago and saw numerous staff lend a helping
hand. Not only did we have waiter service we also saw students:
painting the set, designing and making costumes, selling interval
snacks and hand made merchandise and working as backstage crew.
This production was a true reflection of the spirit of Beckets;
a caring community working together to create a very special result.
The hard work and dedication shown to this project has clearly emphasised
the importance of a college production and highlighted the amount
of talent that exists within our pupils and staff; who joined in
with the choreography, singing, music, hair and make up and numerous
other tasks that helped the whole night be an experience for our
audiences from beginning to end.
If you came to see us, thank you for your support and if not make
sure you get to the next one! We promise you'll have a good time.
