St. Thomas à Becket new college website goes LIVE!

AFTER much anticipation the re-developed college website was launched on Monday, 14 November, hosting up-to-date information for students and parents.

Development of the new website began at the start of September with an entirely new design and significantly improved access to college information frequently requested by students and parents.

Ian Gilsenan, a new member of the administration team at St. Thomas à Becket college worked on the redevelopment and added: "The website has been redeveloped with students and parents in mind. It gives parents access to college information such as important dates, details of events and downloadable college documents, as well as providing up to date news stories about what has been happening in college.

The subject pages include details of what students will learn in each year as well as a resources page where links to useful websites and documents will be made available for them to access to support learning."

The new website along with recent academic achievement in examinations demonstrates the college's ongoing positive progress not only within the classroom but also its relationship with parents and the community.

Head Teacher Brian Donnellan added: "I am delighted with the new website. At last, students, parents and the wider community will have online access to the sort of information we had hoped to provide for a long time. Ian Gilsenan is to be congratulated for the design and hard work he has put in establishing what we hope is a quality website which will be of use to all who wish to know what is happening at St Thomas à Becket Catholic College."
