Year 9 pupils are chasing stars

Ten Aim Higher students from year 9 attended a rocket factory Starchaser event at Whitwood College.

The students were given the chance to learn about rocket design and space travel and encouraged to think about engineering higher education as part of their career aspirations.

They got to look at the scientific theory behind rocket flight and to build and launch their own rockets.
