Welcome to the new look St Thomas a Becket website.

It is still a work in progress so please bear with us!

It’s been a busy first term but I would like to thank all the staff, students, governors and parents for making me feel so welcome.

With this support we’ve been able to do the following in the first four weeks;

Re-draft the school SEF
Prepare for Humanities re-designation
Meet 85 parents at the first Head’s forum
Establish a parents focus group of 48!
Complete our Whole School Plan for terms 2 and 3
Meet our partner primary Heads
Re-visit our BASIC STANDARDS
Re-focus year 11 to make sure they do their very best
Meet the Student Council from each year group over lunch and see what appetites some of them have!
Re-establish KS3 and KS4 recreation zone
Plan to improve our facilities (meeting the local authority and the Diocese)
Get the inside of the school painted including the chapel!

Becket’s is an amazing place.

It’s a privilege and a pleasure to work here.

The job has just begun. How much more can we do?
