Latest OFSTED Inspection Report (8th May 2007)
School inspections are required by law and are carried out under Section 5 of the Education Act 2005.
For parents, schools and the wider community inspection reports provide an independent, external evaluation of the quality and standards of education at the school and whether pupils are achieving as much as they can. They also provide a measure of accountability and should promote the improvement of the school.

Examinations Appeals Procedure
After the release of examination results, candidates have the right to apply to the awarding body, through the College, for a review of any result, if they consider the grades to be too low; this can take the form of a clerical check or a full re-mark of an examination paper or papers.
Disability Discrimination Act Policy in Relation to Exams
Facilities exist for pupils with disabilities to access the curriculum and all relevant areas of the College. The College recognises its responsibility to provide equal access to education for all pupils irrespective of disability and confirms its commitment to ensure that no pupil will be treated less favourably as a result of disability.

Freedom of Information Act Publication Scheme
Every public authority must make some information available as a matter routine of through a publication scheme. Information that is included in such a scheme must be made available to the public. A publication scheme is both a public commitment to make certain information available and a guide to how that information can be obtained.
Any person has the right to make a request for information held by a public authority. The authority must usually respond to this request within 20 working days. This right came into force on the 1 January 2005.
